Julia, it's my sister's name and I love it.

LeeMiller · 03/11/2018 07:14

Julia. I like Juliet even better.

vampirethriller · 03/11/2018 06:26

Julia

moredoll · 03/11/2018 03:14

Julia

Unicyclethief · 03/11/2018 03:12

I love joy. Why are people saying they always have to be happy? it's not Roger fucking Redhat.

Bootanicbanshee · 03/11/2018 02:29

Julia is lovely is it making a comeback?

Joy. Meh. They've always been misery guys IRL I'm afraid.

MrWolfknowsthetime · 03/11/2018 01:48

Julia of those two. But Juliet is up there with my favourite names.

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 03/11/2018 01:43

Julia. Lovely name, and I do know a really nice Joy but she’d be the first to say her name was a bit of a handicap.

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 03/11/2018 01:33

Julia all the way.
Julia McKenzie one of our finest ever actresses

JungDisciple · 03/11/2018 01:32

Bluewidow · 03/11/2018 01:05

Defo joy, my little girl was meant to be called joy and I so wish we'd called it her as she is a joy to have

Notso · 03/11/2018 00:56

Julia.

eachtigertires · 03/11/2018 00:40

I prefer Julia. It’s more elegant than Joy.

MoorMummy · 02/11/2018 23:13

I love both, I know a lovely Joy, and I adore Julia, I’m plain old Julie which is a bit dull and not lovely. Two lovely names , what about Julia Joy?

Pieceofpurplesky · 02/11/2018 23:10

@JungDisciple like many on here I said I knew one that was not ... joyous. Also joy was known as joy juice. An urban name

DramaAlpaca · 02/11/2018 21:35

I adore Julia, it's beautiful.

I like Joy as a middle name, but I don't think I'd use it as a first name.

Polkasq · 02/11/2018 21:14

I like both but prefer Julia.

parrotonmyshoulder · 02/11/2018 21:07

Me too - and Sebastian, which DH hated!

I feel they’re quite different names.
Both great.
But could you please compromise and use Gloria. I love it!

YeOldeTrout · 02/11/2018 20:35

I like both!

Sophronia · 02/11/2018 20:28

Julia

RedDwarves · 02/11/2018 20:21

Julia.

I've only know one Joy and she was a miserable sodding cow of a woman, so I think it's too risky a name (also it seems very outdated to me). Whereas Julia is lovely.

StripyDeckchair · 02/11/2018 19:46

I love, love, love Julia.

Glumglowworm · 02/11/2018 19:45

I like Joy
