Please help!

We have agreed on the name Lucy for our little girl, due soon. However we are really struggling for a middle name?!

The front runners so far are Ella & Anna, has anyone any suggestions?

Thank you!

Choose a one or three syllable name that starts with a consonant. Lots of nice ones suggested by PP.

I think Lucy pairs well with a longer middle.

Lucy Madeleine
Lucy Cordelia
Lucy Natalia
Lucy Victoria
Lucy Clementine
Lucy Felicia

I really like Lucy Cordelia.

Something longer like Elizabeth or Katharine maybe

I was going to suggest Lucy Amber (already mentioned) and Lucy Kirstin.

The suggestion that caught my eye was Lucy Albertine.

I once worked with a Lucy Charlotte.

My friends daughter is Lucy Emily.

I think they are both lovely combinations.

Lucy Evelyn
Lucy Erin
Lucy Abigail
Lucy Pearl
Lucy Belle
Lucy Catherine

Lucy Ella sounds a bit cutesy, a bit like all the Lily Mae type names, so I'd avoid that. Lucy Anna is nice but personally I think Lucy would sound beautiful balanced out with a longer name. Lots of people's suggestions above are great.

It needs to be a long, i.e. 3-4+ syllable name, ending in 'a' or a consonant.

We have a Lucy Alexandra.

Our shortlist also included Lucy Elizabeth and Lucy Harriet.

It’s also a given name in its own right. Neve Campbell... she pronounces it Nev though (in her case it’s Dutch)

OkPedro · 02/11/2018 00:51

If anyone goes for "neve" please don't mangle the name, please spell it Niamh it's a great Irish name

MsNowtyBach · 01/11/2018 22:44

Lucy Alice
Lucy Louisa
Lucy Beatrix
