Her last name is going to be Kihn, which is a really short last name. Our options for right now are

Melissa
Meredith
Maya
Matilda
Melanie
Mia

Which one would you choose? Any favorite (or least favorite) names in the list? ;D

Matilda

SuperstarDJ · 01/11/2018 14:46

Love Meredith.

Cbeebiesrehab · 01/11/2018 14:42

Meredith nn Merry :)

Quite like Matilda too.

starkid · 01/11/2018 14:30

I like Matilda and Meredith.

Particularly dislike Melissa, always have done.

TatianaLarina · 01/11/2018 13:41

Matilda or Melissa (prefer the former in spite of its popularity).

Meredith = dowdy and provincial (if you’re not Welsh).

Disfordarkchocolate · 01/11/2018 13:15

Meridith, I like names people can spell and pronounce but I haven't met anyone with the same name.

Belindabauer · 01/11/2018 13:12

Melissa.

Creatureofthenight · 01/11/2018 12:45

Meredith is lovely and I like Matilda too (both vetoed by my DH for our DD Sad)

Creepyexgirlfriend · 01/11/2018 12:45

Meredith

Def not Mia or Maya.

Zapho · 01/11/2018 12:43

I think Melissa works best with your surname - I love the names Maya and Mia but I don't think it works with it.

PointlessUsername · 01/11/2018 12:30

Matilda.

Another M name i Love is Millicent.

MrDonut · 01/11/2018 12:25

I also think Mia is too short to go with your surname. I think Maya is too.

What's your name? Maya Kihn. It's confusing for people.

I actually like Melissa the best with your surname.

BertrandRussell · 01/11/2018 12:20

Matilda!

hellraising · 01/11/2018 12:19

I would go for Meredith, I absolutely LOVE the name

Orange12 · 01/11/2018 12:17

Whoa! I've noticed how most of your faves are Melissa, Matilda, and Meredith! All three are gorgeous names. We'll definitely be choosing from one of these three! Thank you so much guys

Melissa best. Meredith worst.

Creaci · 01/11/2018 09:58

Melanie nickname Lanie

wizzler · 01/11/2018 09:07

Madeleine is an m name which might work?

stopitandtidyupp · 01/11/2018 08:07

Sorry loads of Mias too. I think it is too short to go with your surname.

stopitandtidyupp · 01/11/2018 08:06

Is the the Maya a Mya or a May a?

My sd is Maya said Mya. I love it.

Working in education for 15 years. I have came across a few Matildas. Probably one each of the others but not a Melissa. I loved that name as a child in the 80s.

ratherbeshowjumping · 01/11/2018 08:02

Meredith is my fave. Merry is a gorgeous nickname for a little one.

greendale17 · 01/11/2018 07:54

Mia

17caterpillars1mouse · 01/11/2018 07:53

I love Meredith. It's cute and quirky on a child but classy and sophisticated on an adult. I do love it, unfortunately it doesn't sound brilliant with my surname :(

I really like Melanie and Melissa too though I'm sure many will find them dates / a bit 80s.

I don't like Maya

Mia is cute, I just prefer some of the other names

Matilda is nice but every other girl is called Matilda in my area so it's lost it's shine for me

EnglishRose1320 · 01/11/2018 07:53

Matilda or Meredith
