Hello,

We think we are down to 2 names for our baby girl;

Amelie
Romy (pronounced Roam-ee)

We don't like any of the longer forms of Romy we've heard.

My 2 older children have short 2 syllable names, and our surname is also 2 syllables if that makes a difference.

Which would you choose?

I know you've said you don't like the longer names, but I used to work with a Romalie and loved her name. If not though, I much prefer Romy to Amelie.

I can't stand Amelie. Its either Amelia or Emily.

Romy is more unusual, I knew one a while ago.
I think I would go with Romy.
