We like Phoebe, but know a couple already. Like the "F" sound though.

Phellatio?Smile

Heratnumber7 · 04/11/2018 18:42

Phelatio is nice. As is Philandera.

2128Cl · 03/11/2018 22:36

I don't think it's bad!
I don't like Phoebe. What about Leonie?

Stormwhale · 03/11/2018 19:30

@sugarbum - on your link there is the name phraya. I can't help but think this dog is the one saying it. Grin

SDTG - Wink the Chalet School always comes in handy. I forgot Thora.

Topseyt · 03/11/2018 19:00

Phrankie? Grin

Seriously though, this is daft. Phelonie would always become Felony (a crime) so why the hell would you do that to your child unless you actually want to be laughed out of town.

There are plenty of lovely names beginning with 'F' if you are so smitten with the sound.

Felicity, Felicia, Fiona, Ffion, Frances, Francesca, Faith to name a few.

”Should I spell it the French way?

félonie”

If you are French and/or living in France, OP.

GreasyFryUp · 03/11/2018 18:09

Love Phaedra.

VenusInSpurs · 03/11/2018 16:32

Oh, god, I laughed so loud at Phalonz I woke up the baby I am minding.

Gobletoffire · 03/11/2018 16:18

Is this Phelonie as in felony or fee-low-knee? Eitherway, no. How about Ophelia if you the like ‘ph’ sound or just stick with Phoebe.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 03/11/2018 16:08

There actually isn't a Phelonie in WoW, unless ots a minor minor character. You could have Fenran, Fandral, Freya, or Falric. :)

MikeUniformMike · 03/11/2018 15:38

How about Arson for her DB?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 03/11/2018 13:02

Chalet school reference, @mathanxiety?

mathanxiety · 03/11/2018 06:01

Avoid Thekla though.

mathanxiety · 03/11/2018 06:00

Call her Theoni, Theodora, Theodosia, Thea, Thelma, and move some place where THs are Fs.

Problem solved, best of both worlds.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/11/2018 12:56

@user34903583908 - I think Fenella is a lovely name, and there are some other good F/Ph names suggested on here.

I really, really wouldn't use Phelonie - it looks as if it should be pronounced felony, as in criminal act, and if you want it pronounced differently, you will spend your whole life explaining this, which is your objection to Persephone.

@WhyOhWine has posted a list of very good names.

OhhEnnEmm · 02/11/2018 11:34

I couldn't help but laugh!

customerservicenightmare · 02/11/2018 11:32

Peonie is beautiful, but the kids? Pee-on-me or somesuch, I'm guessing.

MsTSwift · 02/11/2018 08:03

Poor kid. She’ll change it to phoebe herself before she hits secondary

madeyemoodysmum · 02/11/2018 07:51

Peonie???

A beautiful flower
That's a very pretty name with a similar sound. And nice meaning

Zoflorabore · 02/11/2018 04:32

Philadelphia? or dairylea?

Milliepatch · 01/11/2018 23:14

If ph is not working what about Fallon (dynasty name Blush) Freya, Fern

TittyBoneGhoul · 31/10/2018 23:36

Phelonie. fucking Melanie.
That’s all I hear.

Pissed myself at phalonz.
Phanny tickled me too

Sungura · 31/10/2018 23:28

There are many great suggestions, jesting aside, for a perfect name. Leonie is great. Melody. Fenella. I thought of Antonia or Naomi.

Sungura · 31/10/2018 23:25

Philomena is good. 👍😎
