Witchy names

Trying a different way of coming up with some girls names - what ‘witchy’ names can you think of? Traditional or ‘out there’. I can only think of ‘Meg’ (Meg and Mog) and the obligatory Harry Potter references... 😂

Cressida

I clearly remember a witch named Cressida from childhood but can't remember the book.

I'm howling at the idea of a baby called Gobbolina though!

Serafina and Ruta are witches in "His Dark Materials" and are really string, amazing women.

When I was little I had a book called "Perdita the Witch's Daughter." Not a real witch but I love the name Perdita.

Amongst the Pendle witches were an Alice and a Jennet.

I remembering watching a BBC4 doc about this. Was Jennet a baddie who grassed on all the women?

I have an Elspeth and a few people have remarked it’s a bit witchy. If DC3 had been a girl, he was going to be Tabitha Maude, which is pretty witchy too I think.

Seraphina/Serafina is a gorgeous name, and you could have Seffy/Seffie for short.
