We're in Spain, where it's Isabel, stress on the second syllable with Isa for short (sounds like Eeeza). Although I call ours Izzie. :)

I have an Isobel although she insists on being Izzy 🙄

Isobel.

Though I prefer Isabelle overall.

It is such a beautiful name. But every Isabel/Isobel/Isabelle is Izzy or Belle. Such a shame for such a lovely name to so rarely be used in full. I would never use it, for that reason. Not the popularity, but the inevitable nicknames.

I would be more inclined towards Annabelle.

Both are lovely, recognised spellings of the name. Is Isobel Scottish? I would chose that spelling, but only because I prefer it slightly.

Isabel is my "natural" spelling, but Isobel is fine too - more Scottish? Not Isabelle unless you're French.

Isobel

My sisters name is Isabelle and I've always liked that spelling but am biased I guess.
