sorry i posted before you did

I really wouldn't worry about the top 100 thing

I have worked with primary childrn for 10 years and you really don't get many of the same repeated in a school setting if that's what's worrying you. And remember your child is unique because of their personality, not their name.

Congratulations!

I think Abram is a great name. Definitely has that strong vibe. Easy to spell/say. I also think variants of biblical names can be nicely international, and fit in everywhere.

If you like it, go for it! (You must be exhausted - and going round and round on names is so stressful.)

Josiah?

crunchtime · 26/10/2018 11:58

Adam? That's got the old testament thing going on, is a very strong name and is a lovely name in general?

Leo?
max?

oscar-means 'divine strength'

@crunchtime we want something strong. We don't want anything top 100. Has to be a little bit unique or uncommon but not ridiculous. It's so hard. I feel like I've exhausted every resource...

@ThanksItHasPockets we like all sorts. Not Old Testament names specifically but it does have some fabulous ones. We just want something powerful. A strong name for our strong little dude.

what sort of feel do you want the name to have?
What does he look like?

any particular likes/dislikes?

ThanksItHasPockets · 26/10/2018 11:51

Congratulations! Do you like Old Testament names in general?

ElderApta · 26/10/2018 11:48

Our boy is 5 days old and we still can't think of anything to do him justice :( he's so perfect but feels like he will be nameless forever!
