I once knew someone who called their daughter Fern. She was actually called Felicity, Elizabeth, Something beginning with R and then N. And they called her Fern.

Fawn James is the daughter (and inheritor) of the estate of the “King of Soho” Paul Raymond, who made all his dish through - well - porn.

That’s the only Fawn that springs to mind.

Maybe choose something else, Fawn also sounds like a character from Knots Landing or something x

I think of a violent, creepy character in the Smiley books, but that is perhaps a bit niche.

I don't mind it, actually. Maybe because it reminds me of Dawn. But agree that Fern is way nicer.

Fiadh is the Irish for deer and is quite a popular name in Ireland. It is sometimes spelt Fia as well and pronounced Fee-a.

Id assume a person called Fawn was Asian if I couldn't see them. Maybe a Chinese person who chose an English name based on how it looks written down rather than what it means. Not necessarily a negative, just my immediate thought.

It's a baby deer or a verb meaning to act like a sycophant over. Not things I would want to name my child after.

How about another nature name like Fern, Flora, Dawn, Autumn, Clover, Hazel....
