Avery or Layla

I need some baby name help!!! We are team yellow and are totally not agreeing on names! So I need some opinions on the following:

Girls:
Layla Rae
Avery Grace

Boys:
Jackson James
Isaac Michael
Archie Michael

I love Avery for a girl husband hates it.

Layla and Isaac. Archie hugely popular (nice name but very used at moment in itself no bad thing). Avery is a name ! Quite popular in the US. I also just think of printer labels and aviary. Shame as otherwise I like it.

Avery also reminds me of a bird house, so I wouldn't go with that. Layla Rae sounds really tacky. How about Lila as an alternative? Without the Rae, maybe Rose instead? Though it is very popular as a middle name.

Isaac hands down with your boys names, faaaaar too many Archies around!

I met a boy called Avery. He was a toddler so his pronounciation wasn’t great but I thought he said his name was Evil-wee. Just something to bear in mind...

Layla Grace. I'm not keen on any of your names but Isaac Michael is OK - I prefer Michael Isaac.
How about Rachel Grace known as Rae?

Layla is okay, not too keen. Avery is okay too although I think I'd prefer it on a boy.

Not keen on any of the boys names either! (Unless you moved Avery over!) 😂 sorry!

Layla is lovely but Avery is a boys name.
Archie is very popular but nice. Jackson is just ick but then I don't like surnames for first name. Isaac is fine- a bit religious but nice enough.

Your husband is right about Avery. Layla will date.

Lara and Lyra are more classic.

Like Isaac.

Im with you on Avery - I really love this name. (but you both have to like a name).

Layla is a pretty name and goes well with Rae
Archie is my favourite on your boys list
Jackson will more than likely end up just being called Jack (which is very overused name now)

Layla is lovely. It's a very old classic name.
I quite like Jackson. Archie is too cutesy for me, though I do like it if's short for something longer. I'm not wild about Isaac.

Avery makes me think of a bird cage (there was a boy with the surname Avery at school, and that was his nickname).

So, Layla.

Boys names: favourite is Archie followed by Isaac. Really dislike Jackson as a first name. Jack is OK, but "son of Jack" is an odd name to give a child (especially if his father isn't actually named Jack).

Avery is a boys name (and a death eater) so I'd definitely go for Layla

I Ike Archie best of the boys names, with Isaac a close runner up
