I'm currently pregnant with a baby girl and
We like the name mya but NOT Pronounced mia...
her name would be Mya Morgan but I'm not sure if this is how it's spelt and if like to know ways other would spell it as I know there are a few.

it's very confusing to write as no one can hear me pronouncing it but I hope you understand...

So far we have come across
Mya
Maia
Maya
Myah
What looks the best on paper

I’m probably wrong but I wouldn’t automatically pronounce all of those the same.
Mya - I’d assume this was My-a
Maia - May-a
Maya - same as Maia but I prefer the way Maia looks written down
Myah - I’m guessing same pronunciation as Mya, maybe with an emphasis on the last syllable so My-ah? Prefer Mya though

I've know a Mia, Myah and Maya all pronounced MyAh. Sorry, that's not really a help!

The standard name is Maya pronounced M-igh-a (igh to rhyme with the word high).

Yet people use Mee-a and May-a (May to thyme with the word 'say') pronunciations and all sorts of spelling for variants. So however you say it and spell it, it will always get written and pronounced 'wrongly'.

But I think it's a really nice name. Go for Maya.

I’d pronounce Maia as May-ah. The only spelling I’d automatically pronounce how you want is Maija, but that might be a bit culturally specific.

I think most ways you spell the name there are going to be different pronounciations, so I’d pick the spelling you like best and tell people how you’re pronouncing it.

I also prefer Maia. Or Maya.

Certainly not Mya

Maia. I've met a few, adults and children with this name. The ones with Y in could be pronounced either way and are modern/trendy. Stick with the traditional.
