Meghan and Harry's baby will be called....

Roll up! Roll up! All those unashamed to be inappropriately obsessing about a new Royal baby name welcome here!

As Harry and his desecendants are rapidly becoming outnumbered by the Cambridge side of the family they have much less to worry about in terms of a suitable name for a monarch, therefore, within reason they can be bit more free and creative, but still relatively formal.

I wish we could place bets but in the meantime I invite you to have a REALISTIC stab at naming the new Sussex baby.

We can have Stacie (Anastasia) or Fred (Frederick) but I will go with

Girl: Alexandra
Boy: Leo

1 boys name and 1 girls name each please no massive lists of Royals since Ethelbert!

Diana will most definitely be in the name, maybe even first name.

For a boy, I see Hugo.

Francesca is lovely, but she would end up being called Frannie Grin unless they stepped in quickly with Cheska as a nn.

Isn’t her estranged father called Thomas? So not that.

I think they’ll go slightly less traditional than Kate and William, something more in line with Zara’s choices.

I read that Spencer Matthew's son is called Theodore or I would have suggested that for a boy.

  • short, snappy and a nod in the direction of 'The Tig' and Tiggy Legge-Bourke.

I think they will choose something fairly traditional but not as traditionally royal as kate and William chose. Biblical names are quite popular in America I think

I could see them going with something Welsh. Harry would feel it's honouring his Prince of Wales status, Megs would think it's kewyt and (most importantly) Granny Liz would approve.
