Yay? Nay?

Do you know any?

(I have another thread going, but just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on this name in particular as it’s a new addition to our list).

The only Ramona I know it's 40+ and German. She's a very nice lady though

Poisondartfrog · 14/10/2018 23:09

QueenCity I’ve a feeling Dr Who one was Romana.

Viviviolet · 14/10/2018 22:48

Ramona, could definitely be uncool with Eamona

Viviviolet · 14/10/2018 22:48

Love it! No one could be called Eamona and not be cool

I loved the Ramona books and it made me think wow great name when I met a little girl called Ramona. She is totally fab which obviously makes me love the name more.

muchalover · 14/10/2018 22:14

Love Ramona.

By the time she would be in school all this Brexit stuff will be long gone anyway.

emwithme · 14/10/2018 22:12

I'd love a Ramona. I very much enjoyed the Beverly Cleary books as a kid.

(I'm now thinking of blue oatmeal, and not-boiled eggs, and sitting here for the present, all while lit by a Dawnzer)

QueenCity · 14/10/2018 21:57

Doctor Who!

barnet · 14/10/2018 21:57

Oof - I hadn’t realised it sounded like Remoaner...

Sallygoroundthemoon · 14/10/2018 21:56

No. Remainer/remoaner/moaner.

holasoydora · 14/10/2018 21:51

Beezus and Ramona!

RandomMess · 14/10/2018 21:49

Sorry from when DD was little...

3out · 14/10/2018 21:47

Cold Feet nostalgia! :)

BertramKibbler · 14/10/2018 21:47

In current times I’d worry about the similarities to Remoaner but I don’t know how long that term will be round for

Ohyesiam · 14/10/2018 21:47

Gorgeous. I’ve never known a Ramona who doesn’t kick arse, with loads of charm.

Playdonut · 14/10/2018 21:47

No, it has moaner in it!

MarthasGinYard · 14/10/2018 21:43

Love it

spacefighter · 14/10/2018 21:42

Singer stinger! Old lady name.

Comeandhaveago · 14/10/2018 21:41

Makes me think of Cold Feet but nice name actually. Not too common but not way out

JanisJoplin73 · 14/10/2018 21:40

I love it- I always have. There was a children’s fictional Ramona when I was young and there’s the song by Bob Dylan.
