Strong girl names

I am looking for a girls name for my third child. We have an older son and daughter. I would prefer each child have their own initial (which rules out E and R names) but otherwise don’t have any rules about name length or sound. My husband likes quite pretty sounding names. He suggested flora and Stella - both lovely names but I want to find something which I feel has a little more strength to it. Our older daughter is named Etta which ticked the boxes for both of us. Any ideas?

Wilhelmina, Mina/minny for short

Freya always sounds strong to me. She’s a Norse goddess of war too so that helps

Edith, Joan.

Thanks for the suggestions, some great ideas. I like Thea, Zara and Nina. Matilda was on our list when we had our son so might revisit, I just thought it had got really popular since. Diana is actually Etta’s middle name - didn’t know that about Wonder Woman! But not the worst link.

No, I know a few female Claudes. All very chic and French.

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 14/10/2018 12:38

Claude is a boys' name, surely?

MinaPaws · 14/10/2018 12:37

I think I read a lot of stuff about strong Roman and Greek women as a girl and now associate those names with strength and general bad-assery!
