Hi all,

What do you think of Amy (thanks to those that suggested this name to me)?
How does it sound?

I'd like Esther as second name but not with a hyphen, just as stand alone second name

Thanks!

Amy Rose
Amy Primrose
Amy Violet
Amy Frances

Would you not have Esther as a first name?
Esther Amy flows better I think.

I like Esther and it’s not overly popular which is a good thing IMHO.

@Atticarose thank you
I haven't taken Esther off the table yet

Surname starts with P. and seems to flow well

thanks a million for all the suggestions and comments!!

Yep I've posted also about Emma Esther
I'm trying to keep the Esther in but not easy..

I don't dislike it but I see how it doesn't flow.

What do you think of Amy Laura?

Thanks

I think it's more important that it sounds good with your last name. People rarely read out their whole name aloud - at their wedding perhaps!

Amy Esther is completely fine, in any case. I quite like it. I like that the slightly girly first name is paired with a more serious middle name.

I love Amy, we have an Amy in Dh's family or would definitely be my top girls name. I also agree it doesn't go very well with Esther though

finallychangedmyusername · 09/10/2018 09:59

Are you the poster that wanted Emma Esther? If so I think that Amy Esther flows better than Emma Esther although it's not brilliant sadly. Not sure how much that matters. Love the name Amy though.
Could you add a second middle?
Amy Madeleine Esther
Amy Coral Esther
Amy Kathleen Esther
Amy Rosabel Esther

This was much harder than I thought it was going to be. Anything ending in s or ee just blurs into Esther.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 09/10/2018 09:33

Very pretty, but. I agree with pp. I wouldn't pair it with Esther

Hundredacrewoods · 09/10/2018 09:24

Love Amy but Esther really really doesn't flow as a middle name
