Gorgeous - was on list for DC1

dinosaurkisses · 02/10/2018 14:03

In my accent Emilia and Amelia sound almost identical- it the constant mix ups would drive me mad.

SemperIdem · 02/10/2018 14:01

Emilia is so pretty, always surprises me that Amelia is more common. But it is, and I think that would drive me mad, if I had an Emilia.

ReginaPhalange89 · 02/10/2018 13:44

I think it's pretty but Amelia/Emilia is so common that I'd never personally use it

Sunflower321 · 02/10/2018 12:23

Overused

LeeMiller · 02/10/2018 12:02

It's nice but Amelia is extremely common and they sound very close. I prefer Emmeline.

GreyGardens88 · 01/10/2018 21:02

Common now

MrsCar · 01/10/2018 21:00

It's beautiful

Mildpanic · 01/10/2018 20:59

We have an Emilia and a Phoebe. Both shortened to adorable nicknames. Never had a problem with the spellings.

Topseyt · 01/10/2018 20:56

I like it. Very pretty name.

Lookingforadvice123 · 01/10/2018 20:54

I love it and it was our number one name for a girl (we're having a boy). So please use it!

Shadow1234 · 01/10/2018 20:42

Agree, its sounds so like Amelia (which is so popular where
I live).

Swissgemma · 01/10/2018 20:35

Emilia bassano muse to shakespeare!

Saymaname · 01/10/2018 20:35

We went with Emelia so she’s Emmy. I like Emilia too, pretty name

Crystalblue13 · 01/10/2018 20:34

At my daughters school there are no Emilias but a couple of Amelias

I love this name but my nieces are amy and Emily and Amelia so no chance ☹️

pinkhorse · 01/10/2018 20:31

There are loads of Emilia's and Amelia's around at the minute. Absolutely loads.

Crystalblue13 · 01/10/2018 20:30

That’s the only thing I was worried about, people thinking Amelia

skeete · 01/10/2018 20:28

It's OK but popular now if that doesn't put you off.

She'd also always be correcting people from the spelling 'Amelia' too.

Cauliflowersqueeze · 01/10/2018 20:28

Nice. But she will have to spend her whole life saying “no not with an A, with an E” because Amelia is a lot more common.

DramaAlpaca · 01/10/2018 20:27

It's a very pretty name.

sleepismysuperpower1 · 01/10/2018 20:26

i really like it.
