How do you pronounce Alban?

I'm from St Albans, and went to St Albans Girls' School (STAGS).

It's pronounced All, as in Ball.

St Alban was decapitated not that that should be influence your choice Grin

I know of a school using 'Alban' in the name and is pronounced 'All-bun' at least it was in that particular area South East of England
