I like Violet best but Anna and Cecilia are also lovely x

daisypond · 25/09/2018 19:22

I really like both Nina and Sasha - I know both male and female Sashas. I think Nina is very timeless but Sasha has more oomph about it.

BellMcEnd · 25/09/2018 19:13

Sasha. Really love it. Would have been on my list if it had worked with our surname. I love names beginning with S.

dancingbee · 25/09/2018 19:11

I absolutely love Nina. It's on our list along with Zara. I'd go for one or the other.

Sunflower321 · 25/09/2018 19:03

I only know boys named Sasha (and Sascha)

penguinpurple · 25/09/2018 18:25

I love both but would avoid Sasha as it is a nickname for Alexander and I wouldn't want my child to potentially feel a bit silly or having to keep explaining their name (particularly if they end up spending a lot of time in Russia).

LucyMorningStar · 24/09/2018 20:17

Pemba, yes Sasha is unisex, I promise. Nikita is a boy's name in Russia.

Pemba · 23/09/2018 16:25

Oh really Lucy? I think most of us English speakers didn't realise that Sasha is for boys and girls. So is Nikita the same? I have to say I do love the sound of Sasha.

jadedgranger · 23/09/2018 12:29

Nina for sure! It's adorable

Shadow1234 · 23/09/2018 01:31

Rosa and clara.

LittleBookofCalm · 22/09/2018 22:21

Nina, violet, cecelia are my favourites

LucyMorningStar · 22/09/2018 22:18

As a Russian I can tell you that Sasha is both male and female name, short for Alexander or Alexandra

TheFallenMadonna · 22/09/2018 21:47

Nina.

Well, Elizabeth. But Nina, of those two.

LadyGAgain · 22/09/2018 21:40

Nina is cooooool.

Pemba · 22/09/2018 21:20

Nina is lovely, cool and slightly quirky, not yet that popular. Sasha is an attractive name, but there is a slight ambiguity as of course it's originally a Russian male name.

I also love Anna and Rosa.

huggybear · 22/09/2018 21:05

I like Sasha the best. Definitely a girl's name round these parts.

QuarterMileAtATime · 22/09/2018 20:57

Violet and Cassandra

osab · 22/09/2018 20:18

Not keen on either Nina or Sasha, sorry Confused

I really like
Jasmine
Zena
Annie
Zara

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/09/2018 19:29

I dislike Nina, sorry OP, so I'll go with Sasha.
From your list, I like Jasmine, Rose, Cecilia, Elizabeth (love Libby), Anna and Zara.
Prefer Zelda to Zena.

Sungura · 22/09/2018 19:28

They're so different in character. I like both and don't have a preference. But I like Cecily quite a lot and Clara.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 22/09/2018 19:21

I’ve never understood Sasha as a boys name but I know that is the more well known version

QuarterMileAtATime · 22/09/2018 18:36

Violet and Cassandra

Cosmoa · 22/09/2018 17:11

Sasha and Jasmine are the only names I love on your list.

Jasmine Sasha would be a lovely name! ❤️

17caterpillars1mouse · 22/09/2018 16:47

Much prefer Sasha for a boy but know a 3 year old girl Sasha. She's really naughty which puts me off.

Not a fan of Nina at all, sorry.

I do love Jasmine and Annie and really like Rosa, Cecily and Elisabeth

LeeMiller · 22/09/2018 16:32

I love Nina. Similar to Anna but less common.

Rosa. Rose and Clara are nice but popular right now. I like Cassandra. Violet sounds like violent.

I think of Sasha as a boy's name, short for Alexander.
