Girl version of Richard help!

Hi there so I had my first we girl 2017 and named her after my granda his name was George so my daughter is called Georgia.

I’m now pregnant with my 2nd girl and I would like a female version of Richard as my dad is Richard.

Any ideas?? Thanks 😀

I thought of Matilda, as similar meaning.

I can see that Deborah works too.

If you want the sound ‘rich’ Tricia might work

Behindthename.com suggests Richelle or Riccarda/Ricarda.

I personally wouldn't do this. Is there a grandmother to honour instead?

Or, slightly more out of the box, choose a name with the same meaning? Ric is "rule/power" and hard is "brave". Are there names you like with these meanings? Eg Matilda is "strong in battle".

Or other names with the "ric" (or rex) element, like:
Frederica
Federica
Enrica
Henrietta
Regina
Rionach
Kerry

No reason it can’t be a girls name

It’s so hard cause Richard hasn’t a girly tone about it at all haha! Just playing around, I like Ricki-Grace but when I say it it’s a bit of a tongue twister

Or use Rikki/Ricky. Wasn't there an American (I think) woman on TV called Rikki Lake.

Richard means : ruler, strong, powerful could you find a female name that means those things?

How about naming her after your Mum for a first name and Richard/Richie as a middle name.
