Thoughts on the name Winifred? I didn't like it at first but it's growing on me as a classic but underused name.
Would be known as Winnie.

If we have a DD it will be Winnie but short for Winona. Would that be an option?

No. It's in the same book as Edith, Margaret, Ivy and Evelyn.

Churchill and Mandela are my immediate associations with Winnie. But it sounds a bit Enid Blyton to me, sorry x
