Is Grace too popular?

I'm in the SE UK, for context.

We've loved the name Grace for years but since becoming pregnant I've noticed it has become more popular in recent years and I imagine it will continue to be.

Why do people think? If we go with Grace will she be one of a number in her class at school or is it not as overused as I'm imagining?

I know two irl - one is 2 and one is late 20s.

I think it's a lovely name.

I have a Grace. She’s the only one in her school year of 90. She’s now 6. There’s one other Grace in the year above her.
I love the name, no regrets at all.

I find Grace airy fairy. Not very substantial. More of a middle name and pretty dated.

Thank you, it's good to hear that it's peak may have passed. I do think it's a great name but really don't want a very popular name.

I used to like Ava and Evie when I knew one grown up with each name, but couldn't call a child either of those now.

I don't know any In dd's primary school and am involved with volunteering there so know most classes.
My best friend has twins and one of them is Grace. I can't explain it but she just doesn't suit her name at all.

It is quite popular but it’s a really lovely name.

We have a good few Graces in the school I work in. Not as bad as Sophie/Emily/Ava/Eva/Evie etc but it's up there in popularity.

I think Grace has gotten a bit less popular in recent years but at one point, it was the 'Ava' of its day

As a primary teacher, I haven't had a grace in a good few years and we've had no graces in our newest intake. I don't think it's as popular as it used to be
