I love DH’s name. I also have 2/3 other names I love so probably wouldn’t do it in the end, but interested to hear your thoughts. I know of maybe 3 people who’ve done it.

No. It is stupid.

Supposing im called Emma and I announce my baby will be called Emma.
People would be struck dumb. Uncomfortable. Why is it not the same for men.

My son has my partners name as a middle name.

My ds is named after his grandfather. They were Big x and Little x until fil died. Actually, dsis still Little x to some older members of the family even though he is taller than his grandad ever was. I love it- and so does ds. A proper family connection.

No. Give your son his own identity. Plus i think it always seems a bit egotistical when a man wants to do this.

This is my uncle and cousin. They're still known as Big James and Little James, even though Little James is 27 and 6ft2.

It's slightly ridiculous.

It's way too confusing. Will one be called John Senior and the other John Junior?
Mail mix ups etc
I feel it lacks imagination. Why not use DH's name as a middle name
