Juliet vs. Juliette

Which spelling do you prefer?

Middle name likely to be Laura or Aurelia.

Surname one syllable.

Ok I seem to buck the trend as I would use Juliette - however both are gorgeous - just chose Juliette as it seems more modern

Well it depends which pronunciation you prefer, to me they are quite different names.

Juliet has the stress on the first syllable, so it's a bit like JOO-li-et, or sometimes JOOLyut (if you get my drift, it's hard to write out sounds)

Juliette is Joo-li-ETT.

I prefer Juliet myself.
