I've only known one and he was Eff-rum (rum pronounced kind of like room in a SE england accent). A schwa, I think it's called.

I know an Ephrem who is Eff-rem. So definitely Eff, but maybe rah-eem?

There was an epfraim in an American show is used to watch. Eff ram was how they pronounced it.

Was called everwood. Dreadful show!!

E-frame is how it's usually pronounced in the UK, and Eff-rame in the US.

Efrem or Ephrem is the more used alternative- same name, just a different spelling. A little bit more ‘user friendly’.

Joseph is much better.
Or Abraham/Avram if you’re into something similar.

My great uncle was an Ephraim ( or possibly Ephriam) and I remember it was pronounced EF-ri-ham with the stress on first. Or some times F-ram. Mostly he was called uncle ef. He hated his name.
