Saw it in the name of a business today and quite liked the sound of it?

Don't worry op. When I was pregnant I suggested both Creosote and Hiccup as names, perfectly seriously, to my then DH. I was very wounded when he didn't like them. I think panic + hormones can do strange things when it comes to name selection.

My dd had to sit next to a Trey at primary school. Trey was very badly behaved and his parents were problematic too (sometimes we caught the bus with Trey and a lot of swearing and hitting went on). Traynor known as Tre would just make me think Hmm Sorry OP I think you'd really not be advantaging your son with a name like that. Trevor would be much more neutral (if very unfashionable)

Her babe is Emily. She had to use a male name to get published at the time, so picked an odd name as a nod to that. She’s now known by her proper, female name as society is now able to acknowledge female talent.

Giving your kid a surname as a first name is in no way a nod to Emily Bronte

Tray is not too bad. Don't use Tre with the accent. That is daft.

Traynor is awful. I know a whole family of them.

It's really hard to narrow down just a few from thousands of names.
What other names have you had an interest in?
