Considering it for my son!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
bitheby · 22/08/2018 21:10

Public school, floppy hair.

Also makes me think of Quentin Crisp.

School nickname Crisp?

QueenOfTheAndals · 22/08/2018 21:10

lifechangesforever · 22/08/2018 21:10

Needsleepneedsleep · 22/08/2018 21:07

plateofbiscuits no it wasn't a haircut that did it! Just a horrible man shudder

Sunflower321 · 22/08/2018 21:07

What's posh about Crispin? The sound, the letters, what Confused? How is it different to Christoph or Christopher?

SuperstarDJ · 22/08/2018 21:06

It’s a name that really gives me the heebie jeebies for some reason. I’d imagine any Crispin to be really sleazy, slimy and lispy. It’s strange as names don’t normally give me such a strong negative reaction!

ScreamingValenta · 22/08/2018 21:05

I like it. It suggests a person who is organised and authoritative.

museumum · 22/08/2018 21:05

Too posh for me I’m afraid. It’s nice enough and you’d fit in at public school but might make it tough to work in a more working class environment even as a student. I’d class it with tarquin.

Sunflower321 · 22/08/2018 21:03

Crispin Bonham-Carter! Love him.

MrsSquiggler · 22/08/2018 21:02

Crispr, the gene editing technique

PlateOfBiscuits · 22/08/2018 21:02

@Needsleepneedsleep I’m assuming it wasn’t a terrible haircut that did it?!

GrannyHaddock · 22/08/2018 21:02

Quentin Crisp.

MysweetAudrina · 22/08/2018 21:02

Every day's a fry when you fry with Crispin dry.

mostimproved · 22/08/2018 21:02

I think it's quite posh - of the Rees-Mogg school of naming children. But everyone will have views that are different, if you love it go for it

LethalLola · 22/08/2018 20:55
