Considering it for my son!

St Crispin’s day speech ( actually I think of how DP likes to do the Henry V speech in his best Olivier voice when he’s pissed)

Christmas

Crisps

Floppy blonde hair - not sure where that comes from

WTAFIGO · 22/08/2018 22:46

The blonde Kula Shaker guy who sang Tatva whose Mum played Polyanna who turned out to be a twat

Coloursthatweremyjoy · 22/08/2018 22:44

A Monk (not sure why)

LadyGAgain · 22/08/2018 22:42

Posh and weak.

FluffyMcCloud · 22/08/2018 22:41

I made friends with a boy on holiday when I was about 7, in the kids club. I was convinced his name was Crispy, kept telling my mum about Crispy. Mum thought I made him up. But then she met him and his parents. And yes obviously his name was actually Crispin. But the name will always make me think of my holiday pal Crispy.

toomanypillows · 22/08/2018 22:38

I dated a Crispin about 25 years ago and I ended it because I couldn't cope with going out with a Crispin.
My Dad massively took the piss.

I owe an enourmous debt of gratitude to a wonderful crispin. Charismatic, powerful, wonderfully smart.

Greeneyedgeek83 · 22/08/2018 22:34

Crisps and someone who's stuck up? Lol

backstreetboysareback · 22/08/2018 22:32

A big fat crisp sandwich

Sorry just being honest

PlatypusPie · 22/08/2018 22:30

Nice but ineffectual ( based on a sample size of two )

BeyondMyThoughts · 22/08/2018 22:29

The little sod from Daddy day care

Vulgarlady · 22/08/2018 22:29

Oh god it’s awful, please don’t do this to your lovely child.

Holymolynowayimagreeingwiththa · 22/08/2018 22:29

No! No! Don't!

BeUpStanding · 22/08/2018 22:28

AliBongoBoo · 22/08/2018 22:27

The b***d that ghosted me recently on an online dating site... Sorry! 😂

SleepWarrior · 22/08/2018 22:25

Old Crispin from Bill the Minder. Not a good association I'm afraid OP so I'm not a fan. There's nothing actually wrong with it though, it's a perfectly reasonable name.

User878929333 · 22/08/2018 22:22

It’s a public school boy name. If you’re not in that circle it’ll come across as a bit try hard, sorry.

I have a Crispin as a cousin and yes, at the age of 50 (him) I still think of crisps, deep fat frying and cruchy (deep and crisp and even) snow every time I hear it...

ViserionTheDragon · 22/08/2018 22:22

YY to Crispin Bonham-Carter and the singer from Kyla Shaker. I would assume he's been to boarding school, nothing that there's anything wrong with that Wink

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2018 22:21

Crisps and crackers.

I don't like it at all.

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 22/08/2018 22:21

To me Crispin is posh, a bit wet and possibly even a bit creepy. He also gets his head flushed down the toilet by the rugby team.

bobstersmum · 22/08/2018 22:19

Breakfast cereal for some reason!

buttercup54321 · 22/08/2018 22:18

a crisp.

thismeansnothing · 22/08/2018 22:18

"deep and crisp and even"

Crisp n dry

Crispy pancakes

Sorry I don't like it. But that doesn't matter if you love it go for it

hmcAsWas · 22/08/2018 22:14

I find it a little Hyacinth Bouquet - aspirational (so not actually posh but wanted to be regarded as such)

BurtTyrannosaurusMacklin · 22/08/2018 22:13

My brain really focuses on the “crisp” bit and can’t really get past it, so I can’t cope with it as a name!
