Thanks all! Not sure I'm brave enough to go with Venetia anyway, so definitely leaning towards Elise

If I'm honest, I also thought blinds when I read Venetia. It also sounds a bit like a mean girl name. Elise is lovely. Also one of my favourite songs is 'A perfect Day Elise' by PJ Harvey.

Elise for sure, it's really pretty :) The first thing that came to my head was Venetian blind, I think that association might be too strong.
