Which do you prefer?

Poppy.

Strokethefurrywall · 20/08/2018 21:59

Grace. It's a classic (if overused these days) and Grace Kelly is the epitome of class.
Poppy is totally of the moment and I dislike flower names generally as I find them a bit wet, so Grace is always the winner for me.

twoundertwo54321 · 20/08/2018 21:47

Both gorgeous.

BackforGood · 20/08/2018 21:45

Don't like Poppy. I associate it with being a pet's name, not a person's.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 20/08/2018 21:39

Grace

Bella898 · 20/08/2018 21:39

Grace is much better longterm. Poppy is really cute as a little kid, not so much for an adult

RavenWings · 20/08/2018 21:37

Both dull and overdone, but I prefer Grace. Poppy is weak sounding.

Dani18 · 20/08/2018 21:36

I prefer Grace. X

pipilangstrumpf · 20/08/2018 21:35

Sorry 'dull and overused'

pipilangstrumpf · 20/08/2018 21:35

I'm afraid I too find them quite and overused. Plus I find Poppy too cutesy.

AnnieTheAlpaca · 20/08/2018 21:22

They’re both very popular and not my cup of tea. Just seem so boring. They’re likely to be one of many in their class.

Grace is better. A classic, traditional name and strong-sounding.

Poppy is awful. A really flimsy name. I know one who gets called Poopy.

orangetriangle · 20/08/2018 21:19

Poppy-Grace is lovely

formerbabe · 20/08/2018 21:19

Definitely Poppy. Grace is too popular now and very bland imo.

Greeneyedgeek83 · 20/08/2018 21:00

Grace. An adult poppy? No

Glumglowworm · 20/08/2018 19:30

Poppy

I used to love it, have gone slightly off it now but it’s still a lovely name

daisypond · 20/08/2018 18:51

Grace.

DollyDayScream · 20/08/2018 18:29

They are both a bit meh and overused now.

I suppose that Grace has a classic element, but Poppy will date.

Peachbubble · 20/08/2018 18:27

Grace is a lovely name.

Sophronia · 20/08/2018 18:13

Grace

Jollyholliday · 20/08/2018 18:09

Poppy is the nicest.
I find Grace very bland and overused!

Jillyjollyjandy · 20/08/2018 18:08

Grace

Katjolo · 20/08/2018 18:08

Grace

LittleMouseontheDairy · 20/08/2018 18:07

In my son’s class (year 2) there are two Grace’s and in the reception year coming up there’ll be three Poppy’s (that we know of!)
They are both lovely names.
I think Grace ‘grows’ with a girl more though- Poppy seems to me quite a young/ teenaged name.
