To go with Freddie Smile can't decide. Any other 'D' name suggestions too please.

Daisy. Don’t like Darcey at all,

I can honestly say that as an adult with a career I’d hate to be called Dolly or Dotty. Even Daisy is pushing it, to be honest. I actually know LOADS of adult (mainly 50+) Dolly’s, but it’s short for Dolina (pronounced either Doll - eye-na or Doll-Eena) which used to be fairly common here but is never used now.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think most names beginning with D for girls are a bit out dated. I quite like Dora and Dakota.

What do you think of Dolly? Or is that far too cutesiBlush

Not a fan of either but if it must be one of those two then Daisy.

PetraRabbit · 19/08/2018 22:00

Daisy is a nickname. I think it can be sweet for a little girl but ideally she needs a full grown up name too.

Quangot · 19/08/2018 22:00

I like both Daisy and Darcy. I think Darcy goes better with Freddie.

Dottie is a bit too cutesy as a stand-alone name IMO. I like Dorothy though.

Daisy

Daisy. It's nice with Freddie. Alice and Harriet would be good too.

Mum2jenny · 19/08/2018 21:25

Dorothy, nickname Dotty.

Bubbletastic · 19/08/2018 21:24

Daisy definitely x

babyshark1 · 19/08/2018 21:23

I like it spelt both ways. Probably do prefer Darcy actually. Smile

I quite like Delilah, but still not as much as Daisy and Darcy. What do you think of Dotty as a stand alone name?
