Daisy or Darcey?

I'm not too keen on either Daisy it Darcey - they are both very usual around here. And to me Darcey is a bit like Chardonnay!

Daisy can also be short for Marguerite - the French name for Daisies!

Delphine
Dasha
Darya

Be reasonable. Would you honestly thank your parents for a name like that. I wouldn't.

Darcy is better, as is Delphi/ne.

I can't imagine introducing myself as Daisy, as an adult..It sounds ridiculous for an adult

It's a lovely name though

I think when naming a child you have to imagine them growing up with that name and give them an alternative they can use as an adult

If you are a celeb and mix in certain circles, it won't matter if your name is Tullulah phoenix Alphonso!

I love Dotty short for Dorothy. Daisy is nice but I don't like Darcey/Darcy/Darcie.

Babyshark, I help run a Mum and Tot Group, we currently have 4 Darcies and only 1 Daisy on the register. Desiree, Dina, Deirdre or Dottie have yet to be registered!

Oh I don't know. Theyre both lovely.
I prefer Daisy for a little girl and Darcy for a women. There fore if suppose Darcy as she'll be a women a lot longer than she'll be a little girl.

Other D names.
Darla. Danielle. Dani. Demi. Debra. Dina
Dana. Delia. Dawn. Dolcie.

Definitely going to have to go with Darcy out of all the names you've listed there. Daisy, Dotty, and Dolly aren't too bad for a little girl. But for an adult? Not so much I feel.

Of the two, Darcy- Daisy is too cutesy for a grown up, IMO. Delphi is stunning- the place itself is incredible. Could be short for Delphine? (French for dolphin, I believe?)

I think Daisy does not work well for a grown-up, it is too cute-sy. Darcy works well for a little girl AND a to-be-taken-seriously woman.

I really like Darcy.

Daisy is nice too but - here’s a suggestion. It is traditionally short for Margaret or the French Marguerite which I love. You could have one of those on the BC and call her Daisy as a nn.
