Sylvie or Juliet?

DD2 due in a couple of months. Which of these 2 do you prefer? These are the current final two but are subject to change Grin

Other names that I like but cannot use are Romilly, Merryn, Marnie, Cassia.

Juliet. Sylvie sounds like a nickname for Sylvia

I prefer Sylvia to Sylvie. Sylvie sounds a bit pretentious to me.

Waffle - agree, I really don’t like Julie or Jules. Etta, Jet or Ette are nice nn potentials but I don’t really use nn’s so she would probably just get Juliet at home but I obviously can’t control any nn’s given at school etc

Jules is more likely as a shortening, I would think.

Sylvie! Juliet might end up being shortened to Julie which I really don't like. Sylvie is beautiful.

I absolutely love them both, which is no help, but does mean either is a great choice. I really love Marnie too.
