Anoushka for the reasons others have said re commonality of Evie. Plus I really don’t like the name Evelyn, always reminds me of evil Edna from Wilow the Wisp

Anoushka it’s pretty and I like the nn options. Evelyn is quite popular plus people may pronounce it wrong Ev-Lyn or Eve-Lyn

where does the name come from?

It is an Indian name but also a Russian nickname for Anna.

We are neither Russian nor Indian btw but I like that it is from other cultures..

So

Evelyn - not a fan of shortening to Evie as so many girls called that now. Eve is nicer. Don't want a faddish name...

Anoushka - I like because it's different. Wanted Anouk but DP vetoed. However, think Noush is sweet and could become Anna or Anouk when older if she chooses?
