I know it could sound ridiculous, but it occured to me a couple of weeks ago and for some reason it's really grown on me? I just love how natural and sensitive it sounds. Grin

I am assuming the OP is joking!

MariaMadita · 07/08/2018 17:50

Parsifal / Percival or Percy?

MiddlingMum · 07/08/2018 15:37

This is the reason Registrars should be able to veto ridiculous names.

Give your son a proper name. Buy him a toy lion and call it Parsley if you really want to use that name.

Apehouse · 07/08/2018 07:17

Clovis Hovis

Apehouse · 07/08/2018 07:16

Call him Chive Clive. Or Clovis if you must.

LeighaJ · 07/08/2018 06:37

How about Rapeseed?

It's such a pretty, bright vegetable, and the third largest source of vegetable oil in the world.

Parsley is my cats name!

Yes, I sing the herb garden song to him.

No, he is nowhere near as friendly.

(Do not name your son parsley btw. Obv.)

I like Catnip.

MariaMadita · 06/08/2018 12:47

I like Sage and Basil. But the world isn't ready for Parsley... (Yet? Grin)

TroysMammy · 06/08/2018 11:59

shallen excellent name for a cat but not for a human.

shallen · 06/08/2018 10:04

@TroysMammy our cat is called chilli! God knows why we called her that!

TroysMammy · 06/08/2018 09:57

Someone locally has just named her daughter Chilli which I think is as ridiculous as Parsley.

Good names for an animal though.

bellinisurge · 06/08/2018 08:30

Parsley is the name of a lion in The Herb Garden.

MikeUniformMike · 06/08/2018 08:27

Bertrand, she's Lynda not Linda. I can't imagine her as a Linda but she is Lynda.
Dylan Nells was an anagram.

MikeUniformMike · 06/08/2018 08:25

I forgot Rocket. River Oliver's middle name.

BertrandRussell · 06/08/2018 07:32

My brother reckons that babies should not be officially named until they are 6 months old to give people a chance to calm down.....

faloma · 06/08/2018 07:32

No

Westfacing · 06/08/2018 07:32

Parsley and his brothers Flatleaf and Curly.

Dontbuymesocks · 06/08/2018 07:29

I adopted my DS so this is a genuine question....what is it about pregnancy that makes women go completely bonkers when choosing names? Is it just the hormones or something else?

No, OP. Just no.

OohOohMrPeevly · 06/08/2018 07:27

Get a cat and call it Parsley - you still get to use the name but spare your child a lifetime of ridicule.

KERALA1 · 06/08/2018 07:24

Would you like to be called Parsley yourself op? Next occasion you meet new people try it out. There's your answer. Poor kid.

BertrandRussell · 06/08/2018 07:21

Linda Snell is not an "uppity busy body"- how very dare you! I love Linda.

Bananamanfan · 06/08/2018 07:16

Ummm...NO!
