my neighbour's grandson is Kenzie - he's 12. I think it sounds horrible. his sisters are the perfectly normal sounding Grace and Sophie so God knows where kenzie came from

I think it's because I can here my SIL saying "Primarni" in my head when I read it.

Eilidh is a name though. It's Gaelic, and has been common throughout Scotland for a while now.

My mother - in her 70s - is an Ailie - an anglicised version of Eilidh.

I've never seen Ayley.
