Other ds is Milo (tweenies and hot chocolate I know) and I think they both go quite nicely. Which do you prefer?

Magnus is fantastic, Marley is there horrible (sorry)

Mousefunky · 03/08/2018 11:56

Magnus. Marley is the dog or Bob Marley but mostly the dog Grin.

Svanhildur · 03/08/2018 11:51

You can't have Milo and Marley, far too samey.

Magnus is pretty bad, I really don't understand the appeal outside of the Nordic countries (here it's basically the equivalent of Gary or Ian). But it's the better option of the two by far.

KiplingAngelCake · 02/08/2018 16:44

Magnus definitely

MuggledOff · 02/08/2018 08:46

I thought Marley was a girl's name! I know a few little girls called this.

Greycat11 · 02/08/2018 08:42

I went go school with a Magnus and his brother Mungo.
I prefer the name Marley though

kenandbarbie · 02/08/2018 08:39

I think they're both a bit too similar. Unless you use Gus for Magnus.

DramaAlpaca · 01/08/2018 22:42

Definitely Magnus.

tubularfells · 01/08/2018 22:42

My friend's got a dog called Marley, so I wouldn't be keen on that. And Magnus means "big". Is he big?

MintChocAddict · 01/08/2018 22:37

Magnus
Was on my list both times. Fabulous name

Labradoodliedoodoo · 01/08/2018 22:37

With the nick name guss

OlennasWimple · 01/08/2018 22:35

Marley is the dog in "Marley and Me"

Magnus is great - but the hero in a series of Rick Riordan books

Cosmoa · 01/08/2018 22:33

Ugh I don't understand the popularity of Magnus at all! I really don't think it sounds nice I'm. Reminds me of Magnum as well.

Marley is a fantastic name ❤

jigsawpiece · 01/08/2018 19:27

Marlon? With Marley for short?

Not keen on Magnus, I think it sounds stuffy

MikeUniformMike · 01/08/2018 18:33

I prefer Magnus but Milo and Marley seem to go better.

MariaMadita · 01/08/2018 17:25

Magnus! Definitely Magnus.

lakehouse · 01/08/2018 16:36

Love Magnus, and Angus...and Fergus. Spotting a theme here?! Magnus is great-go for it!

foxtiger · 01/08/2018 16:27

I'd normally say Marley but I agree with the PP who thought it was a bit too similar to Milo. Magnus is very strongly associated with Scandinavians for me, but that's not a bad thing.

maggycool · 01/08/2018 16:25

I have a Magnus, hence my username. Absolutely love it! It suits my LO perfectly.

ItWentInMyEye · 01/08/2018 15:59

My cat is called Magnus! I love it

LoveInTokyo · 01/08/2018 15:58

Magnus by about a million miles.

TroubledLichen · 01/08/2018 14:40

I know it’s unisex but Marley just sounds so feminine to me. And I think of the book/film about the dog. Magnus on the other hand is very cool! So definitely Magnus.

dw23 · 01/08/2018 14:37

Magnus 😍 reminds me of Matilda.
