Hi all! I was on here last week asking about my conundrum with the name Thea. I decided to not go with that one. However, I'm now falling in love the name Athena, and not just because of how it sounds.

Athena, in Greek mythology, was the Goddess of wisdom and my name means wisdom, so I thought it would be a sweet little link to me.

So, be honest with me. Athena - yay or nay? Is it usable?

I've never heard of this poster shop before so that doesn't bother me. I'm showing my age here. Sorry. Please don't hate me!

Cosmoa I liked Anthea too but sadly I just think of Anthea Turner whenever I hear it! Grin

I know 3 under the age of 8 but 2 of them have Greek parents (or at least 1 Greek parent) and 1 of them is actually named after her mother.

Despite that it’s still the name of a poster shop to me too.

I love Athena! And Anthea but it's been ruined by Anthea Turner. Not that I dislike her. It's just all I can think of when I say the name in my head.

I also love Astraea, with Astra as a nn ❤

Poster shop for me too. However as Athena closed down many years ago I'm assuming the current child bearing age women won't have even heard of the shop. Other than that nice enough name

My other two have Goddess/witchy names 😀 which I think it went well with.

It was on our list but my husband is a bit older and so did get hung up about the poster shop! No one younger will remember that though so I dont think its a reason not to use it.
I also love Artemis.
