Which do you prefer? Middle names likely to be Caroline Melody or Arianne Matilda.

In my culture, Arianne is a boys name whilst Arianna is the girls equivalent.

Caroline is such a beautiful name! Not keen on Matilda as a middle though as I think it takes away from it a bit since it’s such a strong name in its own right. Not keen on Melody either though. A bit of alliteration is always good, how about Caroline Constance? I also think Caroline Felicity or Caroline Florence sound good.

Threeandabit · 30/07/2018 21:50

Caroline is nicest, especially paired with Matilda Smile

haribosmarties · 25/07/2018 14:13

Arianne Matilda! Gorgeous!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 25/07/2018 14:12

I like Caroline Melody, it's lovely !

LucyFox · 25/07/2018 12:38

Caroline is lovely - classic but not outdated
Either middle name works - I would probably choose Melody as it feels slightly quirkier & flows slightly better to me

MariaMadita · 25/07/2018 12:32

Arianna is gorgous. Arianna Matilda and Arianna Caroline have my vote ;)

MariaMadita · 25/07/2018 12:30

I like Arianne and Caroline. Matilda is lovely, Melody is rather awful imo...

Caroline Matilda or Arianne Matilda. How about Matilda Caroline? Wink

sonnyboo · 25/07/2018 12:24

Caroline is beautiful!

RamonaQuimbyage38 · 25/07/2018 10:50

Another vote for Arianna rather than Arianne.Think I would choose Arianna Matilda... but I like Caroline and Melody too.

VivaLaVieBoheme · 25/07/2018 10:45

Arianne Matilda.

LeeMiller · 25/07/2018 10:41

Another vote for Caroline Matilda. Carrie, Lina, Caro/Cara, Linnie are all nice diminutives. Caroline is elegant, international and classic but not super popular.

Arianne is nice but a bit fussy in comparison, and it could sound pretty or dreadful depending on the accent. I prefer Ariadne.

Cbeebiesrehab · 25/07/2018 10:08

I think Arianne Matilda is beautiful with some lovely diminutive options (Annie being one of my absolute faves)

Katell · 25/07/2018 08:40

Caroline Matilda is definitely a possibility.

I don’t like Arianna though - I think it’s a bit frilly.

I like Arianne but prefer Arianna Matilda. I know someone who was called smellody all through school (she didn’t smell!) and as an adult moved away and was then only known as Dee Blush

NonaGrey · 25/07/2018 02:25

Caroline Matilda here too.

Sophronia · 25/07/2018 02:22

Caroline Matilda

Jonsnowscodpiece · 25/07/2018 00:50

Arianne Matilda

pennycarbonara · 25/07/2018 00:44

Caroline Matilda

MikeUniformMike · 25/07/2018 00:41

Arianna Melody is better than Arianne Matilda. Caroline Matilda is lovely.

DramaAlpaca · 25/07/2018 00:35

Another vote for Caroline Matilda. I wish I'd been called Caroline

I like Arianne too, but I don't like Melody.

AlliKaneErikson · 25/07/2018 00:32

I prefer Arianna to Arianne.

MikeUniformMike · 24/07/2018 23:54

Coraline looks and sounds like a brand name. Caroline is pretty and classic and due a comeback.
Arianne sounds dated, too much like 'Arry Anne. Arianna is better.
Caroline Matilda is better than Caroline Melody.

SlumMumBum · 24/07/2018 22:55

I know an odious Caroline too. But how about Coraline? Or you may be committing your child to a life of clarifying her name.

WildCherryBlossom · 24/07/2018 22:51

I went to school with sisters called Melody and Caroline (many moons ago!), I think they sound lovely together and flow fat more smoothly than Arianne Matilda
