Middle name for Florence

We're pretty set on calling our dd Florence - we both love the name, and it was my grandmother's name and is dh's mother's middle name.

Our issue is that our surname begins with T, we have to be quite careful with initials.

We obviously can't have an A middle name (FAT), or an I middle name (FIT - because what if she isn't Blush), and I don't like the look of FET, FOT, or FUT. That rules out vowels.

For that reason, we want to give her a middle name that starts with a consonant.

Our other criteria is that it can't end with an 'a' sound - our surname is Taylor so we can't have two 'a' sounds in a row.

Our main ideas so far are:
Florence Cecily Taylor
Florence Dorothy Taylor
Florence Bridget Taylor
Florence Harriet...
Florence Heidi
Florence Madeleine
Florence Maude
Florence Vivian/Vivienne

I like them, but I'm not madly in love with any of them yet, so please let me know which ones you like, or suggest any other names you think work!

Ooh, Florence Jean is nice.

Florence Madeleine is lovely - my own choice would be Florence Jean (but thats partly because I'm obsessed with Jean and wondering if it would be too difficult to change dd's name (she's 15 but am sure she'd cope) Grin #lighthearted

I like all your suggested middle names, with the exception of Heidi, although it does work with the surname.

I'd maybe think twice about having a middle name that ends with -t as it runs into the surname a bit which for me rules out Harriet & Bridget.

I'd avoid the beautiful Cecily as well, as the -ce of Florence is the same sound as the start of Cecily.

Florence Madeleine is my favourite, followed by Florence Vivien (that spelling as Vivian is usually the male version)

I really like Florence Mary.
