Which French girls’ name?

Choosing between these five names but very open to more suggestions. Which do you like best?

Inès
Naomi
Valentine
Romane
Alicia

To go with very French surname beginning with R.

Of the names on your list, only Romane and Valentine are French. As a pp pointed out, Noemie is the French version of Naomi.

Are you living in France or the U.K.? Are you looking for a name easy to pronounce in both countries, or do you just happen to have a French surname and want a name that goes well with it?

Personally I wouldn’t choose Romane if your surname begins with “R” unless you live in France - her entire name would be badly pronounced in the U.K.!

Inès. Romane is pretty too. Noémie is nicer than Naomi.

Though if I could go for a French name I'd choose Anaïs, Manon or
Anouk.

It could be a unisex name, maybe Valentin is the male version in French.

I love Elodie, Sylvie and Agnès best of French girls names. (Though Agnes -Ag-nuss- is very ugly in English.)

From your list I like Alicia best.

Inès - Spanish
Naomi - Jewish
Valentine - a boy's name. Fem form is Valentina
Romane - haven't heard of this previously
Alicia - British/English name.

All quite nice though.
