From your list I like Valentine the best, well now I know it’s an acceptable female name in France, I’ve always thought of it as a male name.

Queen how would you pronounce that name?

Bigua (your name has just made me laugh Grin) I love Cecile too.

We know a Manon who is French and rather beautiful. How about Emeline?

Snappedandfarted2018 · 20/07/2018 19:30

Amelie, Adele, Adeline

SheldonandPenny · 20/07/2018 19:27

I like them all but if you are in the IK the diminutive are not my favourite ie Val/Ro/Nay/ I have heard all of these and it is very possible. I like Inez for this reason it can't be shortened easily and also Anais as any diminutives are pretty.

caringiscreepy · 20/07/2018 19:23

Valentine is gorgeous. What about Amandine?

FatBarry · 20/07/2018 19:08

Definitely not Romane, I also think of a lettuce.

Inès is wonderful, very French.

Dontknowwhatwillmakeitbetter · 20/07/2018 19:04

I love the name Elodie :)

ReginaOcarina · 20/07/2018 19:02

I've always loved Noelle!

From your list, Valentine. It's lovely!

Naomi is a gorgeous, underused name

Is Anouk French? Love that.
French and Dutch I think. I once met a very elegant Anouk, and Anouk Aimée would be a great person to be named after.

The French name I love the most is Cecile.

IwantedtobeEmmaPeel · 20/07/2018 18:23

When I lived in Paris I met a girl whose name was Benedicte, which I always thought was lovely when pronounced with a french accent, I also love Beatrice when pronounced the french way and for the same reason Alicia is lovely. The names on your list don't appear to be particularly french - will they be said with a french accent, i.e. will you be living in a french speaking country, because frankly any name in a french accent sound lovely.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 20/07/2018 18:21

How is Ines pronounced? In-ez? I'm not that enamoured tbf.

Valentina is gorgeous. I like Manon too.
Is Anouk French? Love that.

bibbidybobbidyboo · 20/07/2018 18:18

Valentine is definitely a girl's name in France (I have met some). Valentin is a boy's name.

Hippopotas · 20/07/2018 18:14

Ines is a nice name

haribosmarties · 20/07/2018 18:09

I dont really like Alicia but I love all the others!!
Think Naomi and Valentine are my faves.

MongerTruffle · 20/07/2018 18:09

Valentine is a male name though isn't it?
Not in French.

AnaisB · 20/07/2018 18:06

I like romane and valentine a lot and know a lovely (French) Alicia.

If you live on the uk do not use Anais unless you want her to have a lifetime of correcting pronunciations!

Racecardriver · 20/07/2018 17:53
