No that's not a typo - Devorah is the original biblical spelling! What do you think of it?

It does look like a typo and you and she will have to explain this for the rest of her life. If you use this spelling have you thought about what you will call her for short? Would it be Devvie, Debbie, Dev, Deb? I quite like Devvie, but then she'll be asked is that short for something and we're back to the typo.
Please don't give her a name that looks like a typo

I like it. I've only ever seen it without the h on the end which I think looks prettier (and less like Deborah). But, if you like the Biblical reference, then I would still with that spelling and go for it.

Makes me think of Heavenly Creatures and Kate Winslet enunciating De bor ah with her creepy clay dolls. Not a fan.

She’ll spend her life explaining that it’s not a typo

MikeUniformMike · 20/07/2018 10:46

Is it Dev-Or-a or Dev-ra?

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 20/07/2018 10:16

Quite nice*

I know it isn't made up and it's quite I guess but it looks like one of those yoonique names I'm afraid.

How about Deborah.

I think it's fine if you live in Israel. Otherwise it not only looks and sounds like a mistake she'll be correcting people on for her whole life, it just also sounds weird. Devourer.
