Cassandra or Seraphina?

Which do you prefer? Based on looks and sound, as opposed to practicality, if that makes sense. Thanks! Smile

Don’t particularly like either but seraphina is especially fussy. Do like Cassie though so Cassandra

I much prefer Seraphina

(though Cassie is a lovely nn - I prefer Kassia as the long form , if you want to have one)

Other names which I think have a similar vibe: Zephyrine, Delphine, Saffron, Carolina, Calliope, Artemis

Cassandra is an Ancient Greek name, I’m not sure how you think that can date.

Cassandra seems dated to me. But I love Cassia and Cassiopeia (the latter is my favourite name that I'm not brave enough to use!)

Seraphina is OK. Although there were once two in one of DD1s baby classes and it seemed a bit awkward as it's obviously an "unusual" name.

I think Seraphina looks and sounds better. I think one of Ben Afflecks daughters has this name.

I prefer Cassandra. I don't make any Only Fools and Horses associations. I just think ancient Greek character - who admittedly didn't have a happy time of things. Seraphina seems too frilly but it's pretty enough.

I knew a beautiful Seraphina, it was shortened to Sefa.

I also knew two complete twats called Cassandra...both were Cassies
