Jasper or Rufus?

Baby boy was born 3 days ago and after quite a lot of wrangling, we’ve managed to get the list down to two names.
We already have a son called Sebastian.
I’m aware many will think of these names as dog/cat/, that’s fine, had he been a girl I would have chosen Tabitha!
Votes please!

I love all your names. Rufus and Jasper are on my current baby name list along with a Tabitha.
I think Rufus may be my favourite?

How about Felix? Grin

Oh yes, he's a Rufus for sure! Jasper is also lovely though.

Flip a coin, if you feel disappointed with the outcome, then you'll know to switch!

AnyaMoondial · 20/07/2018 15:19

Aw he's such a bonnie lad op! Whatever name you choose will be perfect.

TheCag · 20/07/2018 12:36

Op, he is such a Rufus! Gorgeous cheeks Smile.

We have a Rufus and a Felix. Jasper and Sebastian are both on the shortlist for dc3. (As is Maximilian if you want another option).

Rufus

Jemma2907 · 19/07/2018 16:59

I have a Jasper and a Huxley so clearly I love a dog name! 🤣 Rufus was also on my list but I knew my DS1 would be Jasper as I'd chosen that name years before I even met my Husband!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 19/07/2018 16:58

Rufus even Grin

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 19/07/2018 16:57

I know three dogs called Rupert.

blackbirdbluebottle · 19/07/2018 16:52

He definitely looks like a Jasper, Rufus is the name of friends dog!

TatianaLarina · 19/07/2018 16:51

I know a dog called Rufus. It’s a yappy terrier type.

Movablefeast · 19/07/2018 16:50

Love the contrast of Sebastian and Rufus x

Movablefeast · 19/07/2018 16:49

Rufus is a wonderful name.

Ignore all the "dog's name" comments Hmm

Icklepup · 19/07/2018 16:46

Aww, he's a Rufus.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 19/07/2018 16:42

Same here Tatiana.

Rufus is a dogs name to my ears.

TatianaLarina · 19/07/2018 16:39

The Jaspers I know are cool and goodlooking.

Pemba · 19/07/2018 16:38

Jasper is a harsh and pointy name, yes. He looks like a cute little Rufus!

Marylou2 · 19/07/2018 16:00

He’s gorgeous OP. He’s quite clearly a Hugo.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 19/07/2018 15:44

Grin was just going to say he's definitely a Jasper or even a Benjamin.

He's beautiful OP.

babyyorkie · 19/07/2018 15:34

Awww he is such a Rufus, definitely not a Jasper. Jaspers are harsh and pointy and Rufus' are soft and gentle in my mind haha

MimiSunshine · 19/07/2018 15:31

Is it wrong to say he looks like a Monty? 😊

He’s so cute 😍

Sebastian and Monty? If not Jasper gets my vote 👍🏻

TatianaLarina · 19/07/2018 15:30

Love Sebastian. Love Jasper. And they go very well together.

Don’t like Rufus at all.

Either are good names but I prefer Jasper. Never thought of it as a 'dog name'?

starkid · 19/07/2018 15:15

Not much help but I think they both go well with Sebastian.
I prefer Jasper though :)
Maybe post a pic and we can see what he 'looks' like!
