Is Evalina/Evelina pretty and a bit mystical sounding, or slightly twee and a bit sickly? I honestly can't decide. Also, which spelling do you prefer?

I think it’s a beautiful name and top contender for us if this little one is a girl.
I’d spell it Evelina (like the Frances Burney book) and I think either Lina or Evie are very sweet nn.
As for the hospital connection, there are plenty of hospitals with ‘real names’ the only reason people make the connection is it’s more unusual than others. People will lose that connection very quickly if that becomes a name of someone they know. I wouldn’t let that put you off if you love it.

I know lots of polish girls with this name!
It's quite nice but not something I'd go for.
What about Angeline, Adeline, Evelyn, Angelina?

Evalina is the title of one of my favourite books of all time.

There's Aveline/Avelina so Evelina looks like a variation of that.

I think Evalina/Evelina is gorgeous actually. I prefer just Eve though but I'm bias!

I love the name though, it's a refreshing changes from the 100's of Lily Mays floating around.

It is the name of a rather brilliant children's hospital, saved my nephew's life & Cbeebies Dr. Ranj made an appearance while I was visiting! The original Evalina hospital was built in memory of Evalina Rothschild, the wife of Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the 1800's.

I know an Ewelina. She’s lovely and so is the name. It’s Polish so pronounced with a v sound rather than a W.
