I've never liked Hannah, but I do really like Anna.

Actually I know 2 sisters called Hannah and Kate. Wait until you meet her and decide which one suits her best. I prefer Anna to Hannah if that helps.

They're OK, but I find them a bit dull. I prefer the longer forms for Kate and I prefer Anna to Hannah. Catherine/Katharine (other forms are available) and Anna are really nice.

They’re all very simple names but Hannah screams 80s feather cut and Rimmel lipstick to me.

I'm a Hannah and I don't love it.

There are no nice shortenings (I can't stand Han, makes me think of Ham).

I prefer Kate, it's classic and strong. Also far prettier nickname opportunities (Katie, Kat, Kitty) than Hannah.
