German Baby Name

Hello,

My husband and I just found out that we are expecting. I know it's very early days but I am cautiously getting excited.

He is English and I'm from
Germany. The baby will grow up bilingually.

We have family in Germany and ideally I'd like a name that has the same or very similar proboinciation in both languages. Does anyone have any suggestions? It's really hard to think of anything but I'd really like them
To have a name that both set of grandparents etc will find easy to use.

Thank you!

Many names would fit your criteria I think (Anna, Emma, Oliver, Amelia, Lena, Milla being obvious examples).

What sort of names do you like?

I’d be inclined to avoid names beginning with J, and also anything containing ‘th’. Oh, and Margot!

But otherwise a lot of names work.
