Also (and I know you don't care either way, which is good) but I've worked in schools for many years and definitely don't associate any of these names with children who behaved badly.

ExH told me he didn’t like our DDs name because everyone would immediately think of the ‘tv chav’ of the same name Hmm no one has been rude enough to say if they did but I very much doubt they do Wink

In English Lewis works much better than the French name Louis.

Lewis I suppose (though Louis pronounced loo-eee is much better), or maybe Dylan.

I do like Alfie a lot, but like others say, a bit too little boyish and nicknamey if you don't have Alfred (or maybe Alfredo?) on the birth certificate.

Lewis or Dylan are lovely. I’ve always liked Lewis but can’t use it now as it’s an ex where things ended very badly.
