Ada and Frederick. Grin

Pebblespony · 24/06/2018 18:21

Eleanor and Michael.
(I'm not very daring).

Paranoixia · 24/06/2018 18:12

I know a Francesca who goes by Cesci (pronounced Chessci), which suits her perfectly.

Jj2431 · 24/06/2018 16:57

If we had Francesca then we would use Frankie. I don't mind Fran but would always call her Frankie myself.

Thanks for all your input x

I like Matthew and Adam..

Juliet.

I like Francesca but can’t stand Fran, but if you don’t mind Fran then Francesca is lovely.

IVflytrap · 24/06/2018 14:47

Martha, Vivienne and Helena.

Elias, Francis and Evander.

They are nice and relatively underused (at least in my part of the UK.)

YogaPants · 24/06/2018 14:17

Eleanor Jean
Vivienne Jean
Lucinda Jean

Isaac Francis
Francis Jack
Matthew Francis

HJL2506 · 24/06/2018 10:53

I love Evelyn. But I really love Everly if that's an option.

SeagullsStopItNow · 24/06/2018 10:35

Sorry I forgot about the middle name!
Evangeline Joan?
Evangeline Jane?

Jj2431 · 24/06/2018 10:32

I prefer Evangeline to Evangelina too but Evangeline Jean doesn't sound right?

In answer to questions Jean is a family name hence why we are using that as a middle name. Our other two boys have religious names and we do really like religious names. Would be nice to have another but it's not a necessity

OP posts:
Uyulala · 24/06/2018 10:27

Helena Jean
Orla Jean
Eloise Jean

Ezekiel Francis
Asher Francis
Micah Francis

SeagullsStopItNow · 24/06/2018 10:25

I know it’s not on there but Evangeline would be nicer than Evangelina and my favourite from your list.

Asher

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 24/06/2018 10:25

Vivienne
Adam

Paranoixia · 24/06/2018 10:24

I hate Jean though. It sounds like jeans without the s.

Joan is much nicer.

Paranoixia · 24/06/2018 10:24

So, favourites are:

Ada, Margot, Delilah, Agnes

Adam, Gabriel, Matthew

(Are you deliberately going for the religious theme for boys' names?)

Paranoixia · 24/06/2018 10:22

Ada - like it
Evelyn - it's ok, a bit meh
Margo - like it if spelt Margot
Delilah - like it
Juliet - I like Juliet, but hate the inevitable nicknames Julie/Jules
Martha - like it, though not as much as others on your list
Vivienne - hate it
Alandria - don't like it, sounds made up
Helena - like it
Eva - too popular at the moment
-Genevieve - like it, I've only ever met one
Evangelina - hate it. It's so clunky. Angelina is fine, so why stick that ugly "Ev" on the front?
-Amy - like it
-Niamh - it's ok
-Eloise - like it

  • Francesca - like it
-Orla - meh -Lucinda - hate it. Lucy is far nicer. -Dorothea - it's a bit flouncy and try-hard. -Agnes - like it -Eleanor - like it

-Gabriel - it's alright
-Raphael - meh
-Elias - hate it
-Matthew - like it
-Ezekiel - hate it. It's a surname, not a first name. I would also think it was very strange if you weren't Jewish.
-Isaac - ok
-Asher - hate it. Asha is a girl's name.
-Evan - God no, way too dated
-Francis - I've never liked this name
-Evander - sounds made up, plus it sounds like a girl's name to me
-Frederick - alright
-Alfred - alright
-Michael - alright
-Adam - alright
-Micah - hate it

AnyaMoondial · 24/06/2018 10:21

Lucinda Jean. It is fantastic.

Matthew is my fave of the boy names.

BB2018 · 24/06/2018 10:18

Helena or Martha

Matthew, Francis or Frederick
