Help! We have agreed that these names are good for both of us...I'd really appreciate some honest feedback and mumsnet is as honest as it gets! Which are useable and what are the pitfalls? I've already asked about Vera but it's a real contender so it's on the list...
Vera
Keziah
Phaedra
Thalia
Marla
Dinah

They're all hideous.... that was my first thought

I'm sorry. I hate to be so blunt but you did ask.

If I had a gun to my head Is choose Dinah... But that's only because it's the least hideous out of all of them.

Shesaysso · 21/06/2018 21:26

Truthfully really don’t like any of them. Dinah is the best if I had to pick though.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 21/06/2018 21:23

Honestly? They're all terrible, some worst than others.

Icklepup · 21/06/2018 21:23

I love Vera, don't like the others.

nosleepnosense · 21/06/2018 21:22

Marla was my #1 for years. I love it. Never had a baby girl though.

letsallhaveanap · 21/06/2018 21:21

I LOVE Phaedra so so much! Its on our list too but im not sure we will use it as it doesnt really go with surname..
I also like Vera from your list.

MikeUniformMike · 21/06/2018 21:20

Why are you on here then?

Namethecat · 21/06/2018 21:18

I'd say call your child what you damn well like. I don't know why people worry about the thoughts of others (strangers) when it comes to baby naming.

OK. You asked.
Vera - Duckworth. No
Keziah - OK
Phaedra - OK
Thalia - is it pronounced Tahl-ya? Thayl-ya? Thahl-ya?No.
Marla - Maples. No.
Dinah - Sheridan. Yes.
I'd probably choose Keziah or Dinah.
